Elio Scuderi was born in Palermo in 1973; ever the unconditional lover of colour and matter he is an atypical artist, to whom Art is his own Eden, the nest that shelters him from the outside world. His infinite creativity flows instinctively and naturally from his being, uncontaminated by outer influences.
Although the lack of artistical studies is usually seen as a fault, in this case it becomes the distinguishing mark of his style. He expresses only what he feels inside, using experimentation and research, which are at the core of his being and of his way to create Art; a deeply conceptual Art, vibrating with energy, in which lies the sensitive universe of this artist.
In 2004 his passion turns into an urgent need to “mould universes” and so, listening to his soul, he starts surfacing into the outside world by letting colour, earth, cloth, metal and various objects he recycles everywhere interact with each other, in so doing giving “new life” to things which otherwise would have fallen into oblivion. Art flows through him, leads him to his own world, where the only balance that matters is the chromatic balance and where Art is just Art, nothing else........
